Carlos Alcaraz Fan Site

An unofficial fan site for Carlos Alcaraz — seven majors, a career Grand Slam and the story behind them, told as a season on tour from Melbourne to New York.

01 — The brief

A season, not a scrapbook

Fan sites tend to pile up photos and stats. This one had to follow Carlos the way his fans do — through the season, surface by surface — and stay accurate, credited and current, without a single tracking cookie.

02 — The approach

Change surface as you scroll

The page is a tour. Each section is set at a Grand Slam venue on its own surface — Melbourne hard court, Paris clay, London grass, New York hard court — and the ground, court lines and colour change as you move between them. A tennis ball travels with the scroll, and a scoreboard in the header counts sets and games along the way.

Underneath sits real content. “Where is Carlos now?” refreshes from Wikipedia twice a day, a rally view draws his forehand and drop shot from above, and a trophy cabinet slides sideways through his majors with full final scores. Highlights load nothing from YouTube until you press play, every photo is credited from Wikimedia Commons, and the site sets no cookies at all.
